Dottie Deremo, RN, MSN, MHSA, FACHE


Dottie Deremo is the principal partner and CEO of The Deremo Group (TDG), a wholly owned consulting, speaking, and executive coaching company. TDG practice areas include leadership, strategy, idealized planning, succession planning, business renewal, and business sustainability matrix mapping. TDG goal is to maximize their clients’ full potential to produce outstanding, sustainable results.

Dottie is recognized nationally and internationally as an influential leader, entrepreneur, consultant, health care public policy expert, speaker, and author. She is the retired CEO of Hospice of Michigan and its national subsidiary company, At Home SupportTM. Besides Dottie’s consulting practice, she maintains in a part-time consulting role with Hospice of Michigan and At Home SupportTM as their Executive Emeritus.

Dottie’s formal education includes two master’s degrees from Wayne State University and the University of Michigan as well as three business fellowships: (1986) Johnson & Johnson Nurse Executive Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business; (1995) Health Trust Fellow at the Kings Fund College of Great Britain studying the British National Health Service; and, (2005) Harvard Business School Fellow in Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management.

Dottie has a long history of professional and community service on local, state, and national boards, commissions, and task forces and continues this precedent. She is a sought-after keynote speaker, has won numerous awards and recognitions, and written many articles and health care book chapters.
